How Yusen Logistics brought a digital colleague into customs clearance

Yusen Logistics is an international logistics company that, among other things, focuses on customs services in the Czech Republic. As part of their digitalisation strategy, they were looking for a way to streamline routine administrative tasks and chose automation with Aiviro.

Ing. Petr Franěk, Head of Compliance, Quality and Continuous Improvement at Yusen Logistics, describes his experience with Aiviro as follows:

As part of developing digitalisation and streamlining processes, we have successfully completed our first project implementing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI in the area of administration and customs clearance.

The goal was to automate routine and repetitive tasks, reduce error rates and free up capacity for higher-value activities. The result is a working solution built on Aiviro’s RPA platform, which simulates the work of a “digital colleague” — it reads emails, processes attachments, transfers data to systems and assists with customs clearance.

What were the individual project phases?
